All along the Riverbanks
I´m sitting here down by the river, where we both first met
This old place makes me shiver, this old spot makes me sad
The same cool wind, that rustles in the reeds along the bank
And in the weeping willow tree, with it`s Long hanging branches
All along the riverbanks, I know every stone by name
Only you and I, my friend, we have not remained the same
Time has passed so quickly, since twenty years ago
But while I´m sitting here, my friend, Moments are passing slow
Every smoky campfire, is burned into my mind
And I can here old melodies, sounding through time
All along the riverbanks, I know every stone by name
Only you and I, my friend, we have not remained the same
